The Centre was built during the time when Bethlehem was preparing to welcome the new Millennium. Since its inception in 1999, it has been emphasizing the concepts of peace, democracy, religious tolerance and cultural diversity Various activities are implemented at the Peace Centre, including exhibitions, concerts, festivals, workshops, specialty courses, film screenings and even yoga and Pilates sessions, to name a few, attended by both locals and foreigners.
