This is a must-see exhibition located at the Convention Palace, near Solomon’s Pools. It was gifted to the children of Palestine by the British museum curator Henry Leu, after having toured around the world for almost 20 years. Leu’s aim was to provide Palestinian children the chance to learn about dinosaurs, since many of them are denied the opportunity to visit museums and exhibitions around the world. The exhibition features a selection of three-dimensional figures of dinosaurs and insects that have been magnified in size to allow children to observe every detail and learn about the anatomy of these prehistoric creatures and the history of their existence in this part of the world. The project is among many implemented to revive the area on the economic, cultural, entertainment and educational levels and contribute to the growth and development of tourism.
